ドライブシャフトの内部可動部分が無理な入力によって一旦傷が付いてしまうと絶えず引っかかり熱溜まりを作り、やがてはグリスが沸騰するような高温な状態で焼きつきを起こすのです。
ドライブシャフトをいくら太く強化しても内部の造り込みがなければ改善されません。

In Hondas, axle failure is rarely due to insufficient strength of the shaft itself - but rather due to the moving parts in the constant velocity joints on either end. When the surface of the components are scratched by contacting each other during use, these seemingly small - sometimes microscopic imperfections lead to heat building up within the joints, this heat breaks down the grease which minimizes its effectiveness in lubrication, creating more scratches and therefore building up more heat. Spoon Sports axles are not reinforced or any heavier than the stock counterparts, however the joints are designed to be more resilient to damage - allowing for more resistance to heat and damage.
