The Nissin Type R Pads were designed specifically for track use and have years of R&D in Japan as well as with club-level racers in the USA. They feature an aggressive and consistent bite through an impressively broad temperature range but where they really shine is easy of pedal modulation while threshold braking. A true performer when it comes to trail braking performance. 

Note: Due to the aggressive nature of these brake pads, it is recommended the front and rear both be used to maintain the factory brake balance of your car.
